Privacy Policy

Kezli Tier Battle is a Twitch Extension that lets a broadcaster rank items while viewers secretly vote on the same tiers. We collect only the data needed to run the battle, authenticate requests, prevent duplicate voting, store the broadcaster's configuration and display results.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller for Kezli Tier Battle is Lyne Zohra Kala, operating from France.

2. What data do we process?

Broadcasters

Twitch channel identifier and broadcaster role.
Tier Battle configuration, including titles, tier labels, tier colors, item names and item order.
Images uploaded by the broadcaster for Tier Battle items.
Streamer choices, battle state, reveal state and final battle statistics.

Viewers

Twitch Extension opaque user identifier, when provided by Twitch, so one viewer can have one current vote per item.
Twitch channel identifier for the channel being viewed.
The tier selected for each item.

Technical data

A signed Twitch Extension authorization token is used to authenticate requests. Kezli does not intentionally store the full authorization token after the request is processed.
Hosting and infrastructure providers may generate ordinary technical logs such as request time, IP address, device or browser information for security and reliability.

The current Free V1 does not read or store Twitch chat messages, does not collect payment-card data, and does not use viewer votes for advertising profiles.

3. Why do we process this data?

To authenticate the Extension and associate it with a channel.
To create, edit, run and restore Tier Battles.
To record viewer votes and prevent duplicate current votes.
To hide chat results until reveal.
To generate Streamer vs Chat results and battle statistics.
To store and serve item images uploaded by broadcasters.
To protect the service against abuse and technical failures.
To answer support requests.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the situation, processing is based on performance of the service requested by the broadcaster, and on our legitimate interests in operating a secure interactive Twitch Extension, preventing duplicate voting, maintaining reliability and preventing abuse.

Where consent is legally required for a future feature, Kezli will request it before that processing begins.

5. Who receives the data?

Data is processed by Kezli and by service providers used to operate the Extension, including hosting, database/storage and infrastructure providers. The current service uses Vercel for application hosting and Supabase for database and storage services.

Twitch separately processes data under Twitch's own terms and privacy practices. Kezli is not responsible for Twitch's independent processing.

6. International data transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are handled using legally recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards.

7. How long do we keep data?

Tier Battle configuration, results and uploaded media are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the service, unless they are deleted earlier or must be retained longer for security, legal or dispute-resolution reasons.

The Free V1 currently does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period. Kezli will update this policy if a specific retention schedule is introduced.

8. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The Kezli Tier Battle frontend does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party advertising analytics. Twitch and infrastructure providers may process technical data necessary to operate their own services.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent data-protection authority. In France, this is the CNIL.

To make a request, email hello@kezli.eu. If you are a viewer, include enough context to help us locate the data, such as the Twitch channel and approximate date of the battle.

10. Security

Kezli uses signed Twitch Extension authorization, server-side credentials, access controls and ordinary infrastructure security measures. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Kezli Tier Battle is intended for users who are permitted to use Twitch under Twitch's rules. We do not knowingly design the service to collect additional personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Extension changes, new features are added, providers change or legal requirements evolve. The latest version will remain available at this URL.

L'extension Free V1 ne lit pas les messages du chat Twitch, ne collecte pas de données bancaires et n'utilise pas les votes pour établir des profils publicitaires.
